Patriots capture Mountain Classic

Knott County Central finally broke through and won the 2012 WYMT-TV Mountain Classic. It was the 8th trip to the finals in 25 years for Knott County, but the 2012 squad delivered the championship trophy with clutch and stellar play.

“These boys played hard and battled. I am so proud of their effort. We’ re the first Knott County squad to win this thing and that makes us proud”, added Coach BB King.

Knott County Central freshman Cameron Justice simply put on a show in the finals. Justice drilled long shot after long shot and broke down the defense with spectacular and exciting drives to the goal.
