Rhonda Brashear will be offering Introduction to Appalachian Dulcimer classes on three Tuesdays, March 6, 13, and 20 from 5 to 6 p.m. at HCTC’s Kentucky School of Craft.
Students should bring a dulcimer, but there will a limited number available if students do not have one. Students will learn the basic functions of an Appalachian or “lap” dulcimer, how to tune it, how to change the strings, and how to play a simple tune.
