‘Hatfields & McCoys’ watched by millions

“Hatfields & McCoys,” a historical miniseries that tells a story familiar to residents of Kentucky and West Virginia, premiered to a record 13.9 million viewers Monday night on the History Channel. It was reportedly the number one non-sports telecast in basic cable television history. The series, starring Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton, concluded Wednesday night. The entire series will be available on DVD.
