Shelby Jean Mullins Roark, age 65, of Carrie, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at Hazard ARH. She was born in Amburgey on January 11, 1947, to Arvil Mullins and Maggie Sizemore Mullins.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Hargus Mullins and Charles Mullins; sister: Othelma; brother-in-law: Archie Holiday.
She is survived by her husband: Jimmie Roark; 1 daughter: Tonya Deliah (Johnny) Martin; granddaughter-to-be: Syudney Jean Claire Martin; 3 sisters: Geneva Holiday, Louise (Charles Billy) Madden, and Dorothy (Roger) Engles; 1 brother: Lewis (Judy) Mullins; 1 stepson: John Kyle Martin; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with David Smith, Elwood Cornett and Mearl Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at the Amburgey Cemetery at Hindman under the direction of Hindman Funeral Services.
